Police blotter

The Benton County Daily Record reports:

• At 2:15 p.m. Monday, a caller at The Candy Bouquet, 1401 S. E. Walton Blvd., reported that a male subject called and said he got a flyer that said, "The quickest way to a woman’s heart was through her stomach." According to the report, the subject then said, "I only saw guts."
• At 3:08 p.m. Monday, Johnny Townsend reported that someone left a cold beer in his mailbox.
