The aforementioned Kevin Drum is all over this wankery by Rep. Curt Weldon and his enabler, the disgruntled Tony Shaffer. I saw Weldon claim on one of the Sunday morning chatfests a few weeks back that Iran was harboring Osama bin Laden, a rather unlikely scenario. Another of Weldon's "sources" turns out to be an associate of Manucher Ghorbanifar. Don't these guys ever learn?
