in the desperate days before the congressional elections last year, i actually thought if we had to have another republican president, maybe mccain wouldn't be so bad.
since that time, i have been revolted by his lack of conviction, by his sucking up to the very administration he disparaged when last he ran for president. he is nothing but a politician and the most dreadful kind. he cares nothing for this country, for the people, but only for his own self aggrandizement. shame on him for his absurd remarks about baghdad being safe. he is an asshat of the worst kind.
