The verdict's in
They're liars:
A majority of U.S. adults believe the Bush administration generally misleads the public on current issues, while fewer than a third of Americans believe the information provided by the administration is generally accurate, the latest Harris Interactive poll finds.
While the telephone survey of 1,011 U.S. adults indicates about 64% of Americans believe the Bush administration "generally misleads the American public on current issues to achieve its own ends," opinion on the topic is clearly divided along party lines. A large majority (68% to 28%) of Republicans say the Bush administration generally provides accurate information. However, even larger majorities of Democrats (91% to 7%) and Independents (73% to 25%) think the information is generally misleading.

Everyone knows that Democrats and the majority of independents dislike EVERYTHING that Bush does. So, this is not a surprising poll. If Osama bin Laden was to be captured they would still find something to bitch and moan about. Nothing is ever good enough for them as long as he is in office. However, it seems like they can't some up with a better idea for the war in iraq. They're so hell-bent on getting the troops out of there but if you have a brain in your head you would know that by doing that we would put our country and world and a tremendous risk. Yet, somehow they can complain but nobody gives any other option. Interesting.

I often wonder what reasonable people think when they vote "yes" on questions that say "generally misleads to achieve its own ends."
What do people think are these "ends?" Does the President earn bonus back dollars for invading countries? Is he in it for a lucrative book deal after his term in office?
I certainly respect that people may have different opinions as to whether or not we should be there, but I mean ... think about the questions to which you are saying "I agree with that!!"
