It's going to be a long three years

The LATimes wonders how they can recover:

WASHINGTON — With President Bush's popularity sagging, the White House is getting plenty of advice from Republicans who want to help pull him out of his slump.
There's only one problem: They often disagree with each other.

Whole thing. Apparently they're counting on one great State of the Union address. Best of luck with that.

    Espicially considering some of the SOTU gems bush has delivered in the past.

    The famous 16 words of course.

    Steriods in baseball, yep, cleared that up.

    Hydrogen cars, yep, problem solved.

    Aids in Africa, yep, not distributing condoms is sure making a difference.

    Medicaire Drug benefit, Nobody really needed that 700 billion dollars over the next ten years.

    And who can forget the item that Dave Chappelle famously mocked, "Mars, bitches!"
